Managua 16th March 2021 – The Nicaraguan Ministry of Health (MINSA) has today implemented a new Online Covid-19 Test registration procedure.
(Note: MINSA say Registration is available from noon on March 16th 2021)
Due to the increase in the number of people traveling outside of the country, MINSA has initiated this new system in order to provide a more streamlined and faster process.
COVID-19 Real-time PCR Test – Online Service
OPTION 1: Register online by going to this site/URL from a mobile device or computer: https://serviciosenlinea.minsa.gob.ni
CLICK on the LABORATORY icon and the available options will be displayed: Registration for COVID19 tests, Results and Validation.
Click on the icon REGISTER FOR COVID-19 TEST and enter the required information: Full name, travel document (passport), telephone number and address; select the date for taking your sample (not greater than 72 hours from your trip).
PRESS Save button. You will receive a message indicating that the data was successfully saved; your registration data will be downloaded and displayed on the screen.
Once your Online Registration is complete, attend the National Health Complex on the day you selected for taking your sample. Make sure you have your travel documents, passport etc., proof of payment and the printed or digital (on your device) registration notice.
Samples are taken from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
OPTION 2: Download Results.
(Results are available from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the same day the COVID-19 test was performed.)
To download results online, again go to this site/URL from your mobile device or computer: https://serviciosenlinea.minsa.gob.ni
CLICK on the LABORATORY icon, it will show you the available options.
CLICK on the RESULT icon.
Enter the number of the travel document (passport) and the sample code given at the time of sample collection.
Select the language of the report (English or Spanish) and click on the download button, the document will be downloaded automatically and displayed on your screen.
There will be no access to expired results (greater than 72 hours).
OPTION 3: Validate Document.
To download results online, you must go to the site/URL: https://serviciosenlinea.minsa.gob.ni
CLICK on the LABORATORY icon, it will show you the available options, click on the RESULT icon.
At the bottom of the document, find the result and the unique validation code and type it in the field that appears (if you have a barcode scanner, read the barcode). If not, use the unique validation code.
This will display the identification of the owner of the validated result.
Expired results (greater than 72 hours) will not be displayed in this validator.
If you wish, you can collect your results in the old way, in person at the MINSA facilities from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the same day the COVID-19 test was performed.
This new Online Covid-19 Test Registration system is available from noon on March 16th 2021.
