The “Low-Cost” carrier, Spirit Airlines will expand their scheduled service to Managua as of January 17th 2024. This is in response to an increase in demand from travelers to and from Nicaragua.

Spirit Airlines will no longer incorporate this second flight between Nicaragua and the US as previously announced.

Previously Reported anticipates that the new Wednesday and Friday daytime flight options from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) Airport in Florida will be popular with their passengers.
The additional flights are currently scheduled for January 17th 2024 as follows;
Flight Number NK 800 will depart Fort Lauderdale at 12:15 (noon) and arrive in Managua at 1:58pm local time.
Flight Number NK 801 will depart Managua at 3pm and arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 6:40pm local time.
