This article contains the Aeroméxico passenger requirements, information and links for citizens of Nicaragua and for foreigners flying to Nicaragua. Currently the only Aeroméxico flight is Mexico City (MEX) to Managua International Airport (MGA).

Aeroméxico Requirements to travel to Nicaragua
Aeroméxico are following the MINSA (Ministry of Health) and INAC (Nicaraguan Institute of Civil Aeronautics) rules and regulations for entry into Nicaragua.
- The test required is a “Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) for COVID-19” carried out in a period no longer than 72 hours before entering Nicaragua.
- Note: Travelers originating from Asia, Africa and Oceania can be tested within a period of up to 96 hours before entering Nicaragua.
- Foreign travelers with fever or respiratory symptoms will not be able to enter the country (even with a negative Covid test).
- Citizens of Nicaragua with a fever or respiratory symptoms may enter their country but they will need to quarantine at home.
- National and foreign passengers may have free mobility once they enter Nicaragua; however, they may receive follow up contacts from MINSA personnel by telephone for 14 day period.
Authenticity of test result
In their preamble, Aeroméxico state that the PCR-RT test must be carried out by a formally established clinical analysis laboratory. The test result must expressly indicate that the result to Covid-19 is negative, contain the full name of the passenger and must have been carried out in a formally established clinical analysis laboratory and include the professional ID of the responsible Chemist (Químico).
Where to send your result and required information
All passengers must complete the “Health requirement for customer entry” (Requisito sanitario de ingreso del cliente) and submit their negative PCR test result (both mandatory requirements by the Nicaraguan authorities) 36 hours in advance of boarding their flight.

In the Aeroméxico passenger requirements they advise that after you have sent the complete information to their portal, it will be reviewed by the Nicaraguan authorities. In the event that you don’t meet the necessary requirements to enter Nicaragua, Aeroméxico will contact you.
Flights to Mexico from Nicaragua
Mexico is currently open to travelers. There is no requirement to provide a negative PCR test or quarantine on arrival. However, if Mexico is a stopover or layover, check the Covid requirements of your next country or destination country.
