The "Apache" Series from the TVS Motor Company

TVS Motorbikes partners with Grupo Q and its new subsidiary “Active Motors SA” to provide sales, service, parts and customer service as a new distribution partner for the TVS Motor Company to expand its business in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

Active will be opening three flagship outlets as well as 50 dealerships for TVS across Nicaragua and Costa Rica. This will complement the existing market TVS has in Central America which includes Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras.

The range of TVS motorbikes available in Nicaragua and Costa Rica will include the Apache Series, Raider, HLX, Stryker, Neo NX and in the Ntorq in the scooter category.

Dilip Ramgopal is Head of International Business at TVS; “Central America is an important market for TVS Motor Company. TVS Motor Company (made up of 90 different companies) has a sales presence through representation in the Middle East, Africa, SE Asia, the Indian subcontinent as a well as in Latin & Central America. They have four manufacturing plants, three located in India and one in Indonesia. TVS is the third largest producer of 2-wheeled transportation in India, producing sales of more than 3 million units per year and a production capacity of almost 5 million. TVS products are exported to over 60 Countries.
